Depression is very common and very treatable with proper counseling. It can manifest as sadness, hopelessness, apathy, anger, irritability, isolation and suicidal thoughts and actions. When depressed, simple tasks can seem momentous, relationships can seem unimportant and life can lose it's purpose and passion. Common behaviors are changes in sleep, diet and interest. Common feelings are down, sad and hopeless. Common thoughts are, "I'm a looser," "I'm no good," "Life is pointless, "People will just let you down."
