Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

PTSD is a mental health problem that can develop after experiencing or witnessing a survival event, like abuse, combat, natural disaster, car accident, betrayal or sexual assault. Often people have upsetting memories, strong feelings, ruminating thoughts, images, feel on edge, or have trouble sleeping after this type of event. If symptoms last more than a few months, it may be PTSD and there is help.

I utilize several forms of therapy to treat PTSD:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, EMDR

  • Image Transformations Therapy, ImTT

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, CBT
